No Doctor Tells You This Secret: How To Get Rid Of Head Lice Fast And Free!

If you have a child that is constantly scratching their head, it may be due to an infestation of head lice.

If you have a child that is constantly scratching their head, it may be due to an infestation of head lice. After a close inspection, if you see any whitish or grey-looking eggs called nits attached to the shafts of your child's hair, then they have lice.
istockphoto.com/DeVil79 The entire process of removing lice can be a daunting experience. Many tender-headed children will fret each time a lice comb is used on their hair. The hours spent on picking off nits alone is another experience that many have dreaded.
Head lice is an annoyance that's more common than you think, especially among parents of school-aged children. Whether it's your child or not, a school is the most likely place where major lice spreading occurs.
istockphoto.com/Perboge Although an infestation of lice will not cause any life-threatening harm or diseases, it can become quite expensive. You may feel defeated if nothing seems to be working. So, here is an extremely inexpensive, painless and chemical-free way to help you get rid of lice and nits in a cinch.
The Items You Will Need:
  • Specialized Lice Comb
  • Mouthwash With Alcohol
  • White Wine Vinegar
  • A Shower Cap, Plastic Bag or Cling Wrap
  • Towel
istockphoto.com/Richard_Villalon Follow These 4 Steps In Order:
  1. Wet your child's hair completely with mouthwash, then safely cover all of the hair with a plastic bag, shower cap or cling wrap. Leave it on the head for an hour. Mouthwash is basically a common household lice deterrent.
  2. Next, rinse the mouthwash out of the hair and wet it again using the white wine vinegar. This specific vinegar works to dissolve the glue that helps attach the nits to the hair. Cover the hair again and let the vinegar sit for another hour.
  3. Wash the hair with any regular shampoo of your choice. While the hair is still wet, comb it through with a lice comb.
  4. If there is an infestation still going on at school. Protect your kid from getting lice again by spritzing some mouthwash in their hair before sending them off.
This method is an effective way to kill and prevent lice without any harsh chemicals. If you thought this was clever, then feel free to let others know as well.
