If You Wake Up At The Same Time Every Night, This What It Means

It’s probably happened to you thousands of times over the course of your life.
With a sudden jolt, you’re wide awake. You open your eyes and feel a little disoriented. It’s still dark.
You wonder, “how long have I been asleep?” You turn over and check your clock only to find that you have awoken at exactly the wrong time.
It can be annoying, especially if you’re wide awake, unable to return to sleep.
But when you stop and think about it, there might be a good reason for why you’re suddenly waking up in the middle of the night.
The time of the night that you wake up actually has a great deal of meaning when you dive in and begin to understand it.
According to feng shui, an ancient Chinese practice, different hours of the night are associated with different aspects of your body and your mind.
Let’s break down what each time of the night means for you.

If you wake between 9pm and 11pm

This is a different indication of your subconscious desires. Waking up during this time is actually a sign that you are experiencing heightened stress. Struggling to remain asleep during these normal periods of rest means you need to begin managing this stress better. Trying meditation or yoga before bed can help reduce your stress levels and keep you from waking up during these hours.

If you wake between 11pm and 1am

It is a sign that you are having emotional difficulties. Although they may seem separate, our body and mind are linked. If you are experiencing abnormal mood swings, your gall bladder is the first organ affected. Having to use the bathroom frequently during these hours is a sure sign that something is emotionally amiss in your life.
Be sure to take care of yourself emotionally as it will inherently affect your physical state. Writing down positive thoughts and repeating them throughout the day is a good way to start fixing this.

If you wake between 1am and 3am

You may also find yourself waking up. This is a sure sign that you are angry about something. Although anger is a temporary way to cope with our emotions, it is not a healthy lasting solution. When you are angry, your liver is the organ predominantly affected. In order to begin healing your anger and liver, it is useful to try meditating before bed and staying well hydrated. A glass of water next to your bed is a good way to ensure that you don’t become too thirsty during sleep.

If you wake between 3am and 5am

It is actually a sign that you are trying to connect with divine forces. Ancient Chinese medicine traditions have been discussing this phenomenon for ages. During the period of rest between 3 and 5 a.m., your body is wired to respond to certain energies. If you are waking up during these hours, it is a sign that you have a subconscious desire to connect with the supernatural energies of the universe.

If you wake between 5am and 7am

This is a sign that you are blocking something emotionally. There is likely something in your life that is weighing on you and this is what is causing you to not get a good rest. Your energy flow is blocked and this affects your lower intestine area. If you wake up during this time, it is best to get up and stretch or use the bathroom in order to get your energy back to where it should be.

When you suddenly wake up at night, your brain isn’t fully awake

Additionally, a phenomenon known as sleep inertia has long been linked to waking up too early and suddenly. It refers to the period between waking up and being totally awake. You will experience severe sleep inertia, if you’re awakened more abruptly.
If you suddenly wake up at night, your brain’s prefrontal cortex, which plays a role in self-control and decision-making, isn’t awake yet. You must avoid making important decisions during this time because you’re not able to think clearly.

Your sleep cycle is actually the time when the Divine may send you messages about your path

Your dreams may reveal important details about the spiritual journey that you’re currently on. That’s why you shouldn’t overlook these signs.
Like your emotional problems manifest in your body as pain, your spirituality may manifest in bodily form, too.
Some people think that they’re here to learn as well as become the best versions of themselves. They call the process of moving to a higher consciousness or awareness level ˮascension.ˮ Being aware of their higher purpose is actually part of the process.
Learning how to be more in tune with our bodies is the first step to improving our mental and spiritual health.
