Huawei devices around the
world are going to face a massive issue in the near future. Google has
revoked its Android license with Huawei. The company is
suspending all kinds of relationships with the Huawei. According to a
report published on Reuters, all the new smartphones that will be
launched by Huawei won’t have Android operating system and apps like
Gmail or the Play store in them. The mobiles can have access to only the
apps that are available in open source.
Trump Government Has Imposed Ban on the Foreign Telecommunication Companies
The
main reason for this decision is Trump’s declaration. Trump has made it
official to ban all the foreign telecommunication companies due to
surveillance fear
The
companies should get government approval to work or acquire supplies
from US-based companies. White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders has
released a statement quoting the president “Administration is ready to
take up any step that is required in order to keep the US safe and
secured. The foreign adversaries are targeting the country and are
trying to exploit it and the administration is ready to prevent it.”
The
Trump Administration has added Huawei and other 68 affiliate companies
to the Entity List. The companies present in this list have to take
permission from the US government for any kind of business.
Google,
Intel, Qualcomm, Broadcom are the main companies that will be pulling
out their Huawei support very soon. There is no need for the present
Huawei users to worry about it as Google will be providing them with the
support and they can use their phones as usual. But they won’t be able
to get Android Q update.
