How to Create an Album for Your Facebook Groups

Do you know how to create an album for your Facebook groups?
Album is a great tool to keep and organize your group photos and engage your members. You can create albums by theme, event, date, type of photo…
Your members can find, view and add photos. They can also react, comment and tag in the album.

1. Create an album

Click Photos tab on the left side of your group. Click “Create Album” button.

Upload photos.
In the pop-up window, you can edit the album name (the name by default is the creation date.), add a description, add a location for the album and tick off “High Quality” option for the photos.

You can click on the photo to tag your members. You can hover over a photo and click the button in the bottom-right corner to edit the location.
Click “Post” button in the bottom-right corner of the window to create the album.

2. View an album

When an album is created, there will be a post in your group.

Your members, visitors* and you can click the Photos tab on the left side of your group and “Albums” to view all the albums and photos in the albums.

* If your group privacy setting is “closed” or “secret”, groups visitors won’t be able to see the albums.

3. Edit an album

You can click on the album to edit it (click to see how to view an album).

You can add photos, tag your members, edit album name/description/location and delete the album.
Your members can also add photos (if they are allowed to post in your group) and tag members.
When there are photos added to an album, there will be a post in your group.
